Seafood Sliders
You will need 2c of coarsely flaked salmon, crab or lobster.
Add 60 ml ( 1/2 c) each:
Maple Citrus Twist
Mayo or salad dressing
30 ml (1/4c) each Finely chopped red pepper, Finely chopped sweet onion
1 egg
115g (½ c) crushed crackers (saltines)
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: 5 ml (1tsp) hot sauce or finely chopped hot peppers.
Mix all ingredients together. Form small patties, about the size of twoonies. Fry in a little olive oil until crisp. Serve on a slider bun topped with Maple Citrus Aioli.
Maple Citrus Aioli
30 ml (¼ c) each: Maple Citrus Twist, Hot Maple Mustard, Mayo
Mix until smooth.
I am always experimenting in the kitchen with Maple! Go figure, and sometimes, something wonderful emerges. My criteria is that it has to taste amazing, be easy to prepare, and use ingredients I have kicking around the house.
