Pour your favourite topping over the brie, heat through approx. 15 min at 350, and serve with crackers, naan bread, pitas...
Savoury: Maple Caramelized Onions, Maple Sweet Onion & Feta, Maple Mango Chutney, Maple Fruit Chutney
Traditional: Maple Red Pepper Jelly Hot or Regular, Maple Cranberries, Maple Berries Vinaigrette
Funky: Maple Horseradish Jelly, Maple Pommegranate Fig, Maple Pineapple Mango Jam, Maple Fig Compote with Saiviniogn Blanc, Maple Mushroom & Olive Tapenade
To dress up your Brie: Cut 8 layers of phyllo pastry into squares twice as wide as the cheese, brush each layer with melted butter, and arrange them so each layer is slightly off centre, making a pointed circle. Place the brie in the centre, and twist each corner up and around the cheese, leaving the centre clear, making roses with the pastry. Bake for 30 min You can also use Croissant dough for your pastry. Simply arrange the triangles in a circle, place your brie in the centre, and bring each triangle up to cover the cheese...bake for 20 min at 350F
Fun, easy, elegant and sure to please!
