The Local Depot is a temporary storage facility located within the Local Hub, in an old bank vault.

The Depot is available to member businesses as a central drop-off point where their customers can come and pick-up items they've ordered through the system.

Buyers get a purchase order they display in order to receive their orders, and sellers receive the same with instructions on how to drop merchandise off.

This system works especially well for businesses that are not located in the downtown core, or which have more limited hours of operation.

In addition to serving consumers, businesses can use this facility as a drop-off point for their mail verification cards from services such as Google Places that verify a business' authenticity by mailing them a post card, but which do not allow PO boxes.
