Welcome to the Month of March. As the weather continually improves and slowly shjows us glimpses of Spring we need to watch the chimneys on our roofs in order to ensure they are well protected from snow slides and many other problems. An unused chimney may block up with ice as the warm bouyant house air goes up the chimney and meets up with the cold harsh outside air. This can and will cause snow blocks on the caps which prevent updrafting when yo attempt to start a fire again. Be aware of the chimney and its health.
