Yesterday's “Walk For Hope" went really well. Eric Walters began his walk in Hamilton. I was able to join him in west Burlington at 7 am and walk with him for 3 and ½ hours (what was about 20,000 steps for me). I stopped in Oakville. Eric continued on and finished about suppertime in Toronto. He covered about 48.8 km(53,000 steps) in the day. As of noon today, “Walk for Hope" had raised $14,328.00. This is enough to cover this year's shortfall and to have money toward school fees for students' attending high school, trade school, college or university in Kenya.
Thank you to everyone who was thinking about “Walk For Hope" yesterday and/or made a donation to the walk. I appreciate your support and I know that the young people who Creation of Hope support also greatly appreciate your support.
