NHL HOCKEY LEGEND CHRIS KONTOS TO CHAIR THE 'FOR THE KIDS' ANNUAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN We are thrilled to announce that local NHL hockey legend Chris Kontos has stepped forward to chair our 2015 'For The Kids' annual fundraising campaign. Chris played forward in the NHL from 1980-1993 with the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, and Tampa Bay Lightning. He also played for the Canadian team that won an Olympic Silver medal in 1994. He scored the first goal in Tampa Bay's history, and still retains the record for the most goals in a game by a player, with 4 goals in a game against Chicago. He holds the NHL playoff record for power-play goals in a series.
