We enjoyed a takeout meal last night. All the items we ordered were delicious. They were hot and fresh. Very happy that the new owners have brought it back.
My son went to call on an order on December 31 2021. Before even saying hello he got Fuck off we are not talking anymore orders. Now is that the way to treat customers. I'm sure you will be losing alot of customers once it gets posted to Facebook
My wife was craving Chinese food ,we always order from pan mai.the delivery guy is always in good spirits and we always tip well,but tonite they totally messed up the order.After mentioning it, was very surprised that the lady on the phone did everything to blame my wife for ordering it.That was unacceptable and may they go under because have no customer service.Will never order there again
Date night take out style. Very disappointed. Chow mein was awful, smelled and tasted burnt. Broth at the bottom socked the chicken ball, soggy. And the wonton soup was a weird red colour. Things were not right with our food. This was their second chance. Sorry Pan Mai but we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Was super disappointed. Had extremely poor customer experience. There was nasty fish in our egg rolls. Ribs were dry chicken balls were over cooked. Forgot our drinks had to go all the way back to get them. Haven't had Chinese food in a long time was excited for it then tried it and was let down. Definitely will NOT be going back there again!
Suffice to say we have used Pan Mai before and decided to give it a second chance as the ownership had changed. I never get involved in writing reviews so this is new to me and a reflection of my disappointment. My bad I decided not to cook and treat the wife to an order in meal. Initially we made our phone order and were told it would be half an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later I thought maybe we should call and find out where it was. The young lady whom I spoke to told me it was still there but ready. In her defence she said it would be there soon and yes it was 15 minutes later. Unfortunately everything was cold and would need reheated(I should have cooked).This is not the first time I have been disappointed with delivery from this establishment, so please take your business elsewhere if you are looking forward to a quick impromptu meal. Poor quality,poor customer service and poor delivery.
Menu should be updated. It reads free delivery to Penetanguishene and Midland for orders over $30. They charge $5.50 for delivery to Midland. Don't be fooled.
Our craving for Chinese food was not satisfied. Although the rice and noodles were acceptable, the chop suey quite good, the chicken balls were dry and overdone and the couldnt even bite into the egg roll. We gave you a chance but wont come back.
Ordered take out this evening for the first time in about a year. The food has changed. Chicken fried rice was so salty. And it didn’t look or taste like traditional fried rice. It was white with greens onions. The lemon chicken batter was yellow inside and there was more batter than chicken. This was also very salty.
2.5 My wife ordered 2 #3 take outs, chicken fried rice , chicken balls and egg rolls. I must say I wasn't very impressed with the meal, The chicken balls were way over looked, as were the egg rolls. Almost tasted like the oil was old or rancid. The rice was very sticky and had a fishy flavour to it. I had take out from there before but it was never this disappointing. I couldn't finish my egg roll as it was making me gag with the awful taste of rancid oil.
My family ordered dinner from here last night and I must say we all enjoyed our dinner immensely, the meal was hot the vegetables were cooked to perfection, the chickenballs had more chicken then batter, and the egg rolls were great. It was nice not having grease on chickenballs and egg rolls. Free delivery was a nice touch thank you Pan Mai you are our go to Restaurant for Chinese Food.
Ordered Chinese food for a special occasion. In the past the food's been great. Tonight the food was terrible. It was overcooked, dry, packed flavour, not sure what was in the egg rolls. Extremely disappointing. Worst Chinese food I've ever had!!!
im up visiting family and went to pan mai restaurant and found the food to quite tasty the staff at pan mai is just wonderful the brunette is just full of life she makes you feel warm and welcomed soon as you walk in the door would definately recommend going to pan mai for great food and great service thumbs up for pan mai
Not impressed. We ordered delivery and was told it would take 45 min., it actually took 1 hr. 15 min. All the food was completely cold. Our usual restaurant is Bleu Garden Chinese in Midland and their food is so much better. We ordered Pork Tiki Tiki and the broccoli in it was so overcooked it was mushy, very few vegetables and just a few almonds. We get wonderful fresh carrots, celery, broccoli etc. from Bleu Garden with twice as many almonds. Prices are the same at both places. We also got an egg roll and spring roll and both were better than Bleu Garden. My husband got Wonton soup and said it was very good. But that's not enough to get us to go back, we're staying with Bleu Garden.
I would like to thank you for bringing this is my attention. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy the Pork Tiki Tiki and our delivery time was longer then expected. For this we offer our apologies.
It was an exceptionally busy Friday night and our delivery drivers were having difficulty keeping up with demand. Deliveries to Midland did, unfortunately, fall slightly behind. However, this is no excuse, and we will use your comments in an effort to improve out business and eliminate our shortcomings.
Great restaurant. I have some memories of this place I will likely never forget. The food is delicious and priced right! Also you can ask for food with or without MSG. Fast delivery but it's even nicer to dine in. I prefer this place more then King's Buffet in Midland. Take a break from the fast food and pizza and eat some Chinese.
Joe and his family make excellent Chinese food, the staff is courteous and friendly, we order from here quite often.. And is the only Chinese eat in that has the best tasting food. Glad that Joe is still around running a Chinese restaurant. I started eating his food over 20 yrs ago when he had the Dynasty downtown Midland. And he is still making the best Chinese food in the area!!!! Kudos to Joe, his family and staff.
I lived in scarbourgh and eat at some great Chinese food places ,But since I moved up north here, I Love eating at Pan Mai as their food is great tasting and very nice service's ,Those Lady's need too be thanked and tipped ,It is simplly great place to eat ,and there's no rushing you out the door ,Thanks lady's Charles and Patricia
Feeling Lazy on a Sunday night we decided to order from Pan Mai for the first time. We were very impressed with both their service as well as the quality of food! I would highly recommend Pan Mai for Chinese Food!
We were out in the Penetang area hiking and decided to give this restaurant a try. We were very impressed! As they have been voted a favorite. We got great service, fast , Delicious and hot. Reasonably priced as well. We will be looking forward to going back there in the near future.
