Heart & Sol Farm is a small-scale market garden and microgreens producer located in Port McNicoll and Wyebridge (near Midland.)  All food products are grown using ecological and natural inputs and processes.  I will be working toward organic certification in the next year.

If you are interested in buying healthy natural foods directly from your farmer, you can find the owner and sole proprietor of Heart & Sol Farm, Jonathan French, at the Orillia Fairgrounds Farmer’s Market (Saturday 8am – 1pm) and the Midland Farmer’s Market (Sunday 9am – 1pm) each weekend throughout the year.

Heart & Sol Farm products are also sold at Grounded Coffee Company in Midland.

The long-term goal and vision of the owner in growing the farm business, is to eventually turn a farm property into an outdoor farm school for all ages.  The idea being, that as the human population grows we will need to employ more creative and intensive natural farming practices so that we can feed our bodies and the environment in healthy and sustainable ways.  The goal of the farm school would be to provide the intellectual and practical tools and techniques that will enable our communities to produce their own food locally and naturally.  Please support your local farmer for a more sustainable food system.
