Shorten sleeves? I always say to make the investment in alterations to get the proper length. I learned from the Italian tailors I used to work with to have the sleeve length end about 3/4 of an inch from the base of your thumb. Pin each sleeve separately as your arms are different lengths. If there is a cuff, remove it, shorten sleeve and re-attach cuff. Look polished, professional. Worth the $.
