Bob Charters
As a singer/songwriter, Bob Charters has an ability to hold an audience
with a true and unique voice, and songs which express a poetic range
from love to loss, from beginning to end. It's evident when Bob takes
the microphone he's in a different place, like he's writing the song
each time he sings it. It's this symbiotic relationship between voice
and song that's made him a success on stages across Ontario and the East
coast.
His live performances have earned him a showcase at the Canadian
Organization of Campus Activites (COCA) conference in 2007, and a
nomination at the Barrie Arts Awards in 2008. Bob recently won the award
for Best Male at the Barrie New Music Awards in 2011.
Bob is currently recording a new album, and continues to write music and meet great people along the way.
