That's what we were going for. When DeCarli Contractors returned several years later to replace all the flooring on our main level with hardwood and ceramics, the job as completed in the time agreed upon, there was minimal disruption in the house, and I sincerely appreciated how neat and tidy the workers were. Again, job well done! And last year DeCarli Contractors designed and completed my 'dream bathroom.' We were thrilled with the results! We just had a renovation completed by DeCarli Construction and am extremely happy with the result. The job was completed on time and within budget. The crew was amazing, keeping us updated as things progress, made suggestions about placement of electrical (with no added cost). We would definitely hire them again for other renovations. We contracted John DeCarli to build our cottage. He was with us from the beginning to the end. He was wonderful to deal with throughout the project. He made sure everything moved along as planned. His trades were great to work with. He did not let anything go through until we were all satisfied with the work. His foreman was a great asset to the build. He made sure everything was done right. We were only able to come up to the cottage once or twice a month while it was being built. We had full confidence in John that everything would be done right. As a result of major mandatory work required by our local Fire Department to upgrade the Georgian Shores Seniors Club in Balm Beach, we recently submitted invitations for tender to a number of local contractors. John DeCarli submitted a reasonable and thorough quote to do the required work as well as arranging a schedule for the work to be done in a time frame that would accommodate the schedule of our active club. We first met John DeCarli at the Midland Home Show in 2011 and it was his value statements and ethics that attracted us. And he did not disappoint . John did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He was always respectful, and thorough in his work. He gave excellent advice on design options. The quality of the work by John and his employees is remarkable. John presents everything, including all costs, up front in a line by line format. He does not leave his clients guessing . Ours was a major renovation project including the tearing down of load bearing walls. The result was a totally open concept encompassing the kitchen, dining and living room. His recommendation to use aqua timber was a god send. Our balcony was converted to a beautiful sitting and viewing room as a seamless extension to the main room.
We were so pleased with this project, we decided on an extensive makeover of our bedroom and en-suite bathroom which was completed in November 2012..
In summary, not only a job well done but also with no cost overrun. We now have our dream home.

Our 54 year old cottage on Georgian Bay was in need of a major renovation.
