September Freezer Filler Event!
We have partnered with three local farmers to bring
these delicious meats to you and your family:
Chickens are raised at Honest Acres Farm (Midland). They live outdoors in the sun and rain with full access to bugs and fresh grass daily. This is ‘pastured chicken’ at it’s finest. Chickens are also fed a non-gmo grower ration. It is a wonderful alternative to supermarket chicken.
Ground Beef is from cattle raised by Mackenzie Organics. The cattle are a hereford/angus mix who live their lives on acres upon acres of lush green fields in Penetanguishene. Certified organic grain is fed to add an extra dimension of flavor to the finished product. This is a favorite in our house these days!

Turkeys are grown and raised by the hard-working folk at Heritage Hill Organics (Dalston). These are pastured birds who are fed a non-gmo diet of grains to supplement their daily forage on fresh pasture. Add local flavor (pun intended) to your Thanksgiving table this year with an ethically raised bird.

Classic Turkeys If you have a large family gathering planned, these birds will be sure to please! Large, double breasted with plenty of white and dark meat.
$5.00 $4.50/lb save $0.50/lb compared to last year’s prices
*birds will be in the 15-20lb weight range, please indicate your preferred size*

Heritage Bronze Turkeys are more flavorful and juicy than their white-feathered counterparts. Because this bird is smaller with a higher fat content, it requires less cooking time (at a higher temperature) than Big Whitey. This is great news for those of you who don’t like to get up in the pre-dawn hours to get your turkey in the oven.

Local Stuffing? Yes Please! This is not your typical ‘stuffing from a box’. Homemade bread, local apples, our own sage and rosemary, onions and homemade stock make this an amazing side dish. Can be reheated as a stand alone item or used as additional flavoring for your bird before making an appearance on the dinner table.

Homemade Cranberry Compote fresh local cranberries and our own lemon verbena syrup. A delicious combination of sweet & tart. A perfect accompaniment to your turkey.
