Decent motel in the area - close to a lake and park which is enjoyable for the kids. The rooms were very clean and big - the bed was also comfy. Decent stay, recommended to family travelers.

My family and I stayed here for the holidays recently. Great motel, great town. The dock area in Midland is pleasant to see. The hosts recommended a great restaurant by their location that is walking distance, SteakHouse. Comfortable and clean rooms for the family.

Very good motel with affordable rates. The new owners and people are very nice and keep the area clean. I hadn't seen this motel for a while, 4 years maybe, and it looks a whole lot better than what I had remembered. The rooms are big for its price and the area is pretty too.

My family and I come to Midland every year for summer holidays. Before this motel was called Chalet Motel and was not very good however just recently when my family came, we saw it was changed to Silver Star Motel. We met the new owners and they are friendly people, the customer servie is excellent now. We saw it was newly renovated and the rooms are big and great. I would recommend all families to visit this new motel.
