Dr. Susan Lyons, D.C., H.B.K., B.Sc.
Dr. Susan Lyons has been practicing Chiropractic since 2000 and has her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology. She is certified to practice Chiropractic in Canada, Australia and the United States. Dr. Lyons left her full time chiropractic practice in Australia, where she had been practicing for over four years, to set up a multi-disciplinary health centre - Health Works Chiropractic & Wellness Centre - in Midland, Ontario in January 2005.
As a practice member of Dr. Lyons, you will be guided through your chiropractic care in a logical manner. Susan will explain the reasons and benefits for all therapies that she designs and recommends for you; and will strive to exceed your expectations of chiropractic care.
Dr. Lyons utilizes many different chiropractic adjusting techniques. Hence, each client will have a specially tapered adjustment technique suited to their specific individual health need.
Your initial examination will take 40 to 60 minutes. A complete postural, orthopedic, and neurological assessment including any complaints you have and you will receive your first chiropractic care on that visit.
We believe chiropractic care will enhance your quality of life, when used in conjunction with regular medical care and our other therapies.

Health Works offers a full orthotic assessment which includes a detailed history, gait observation (pattern of walking), gait analysis using Gaitscan Technology, which scans the foot, maps foot pressure, and produces a 3D image to make your custom orthotics.
