Penetanguishene Secondary School, located in historic and scenic Penetanguishene, is able to serve the educational needs of all students in the community and welcomes students from several different school boards as well as students from the SCDSB elementary school system. PSS lives up to its motto, " Pride, Spirit, Success", by promoting individual development and maturity, offering a full range of co-curricular activities, and providing an excellent academic program including an Extended French program.

The intimacy of a small school environment is a major advantage. Students have significant opportunities for leadership and involvement. They can participate in an extensive athletics program, including OFSAA level volleyball and wrestling, and an award-winning band program.
