SHARP IMAGES PORTRAIT STUDIO specializes in Fine Custom on location Family Portraits at your home or cottage. They also have Special Portrait offers throughout the year such as PORTRAITS IN THE PARK and PORTRAITS AT THE BEACH from May through Thanksgiving.  And the Annual OSPCA CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER usually the first weekend in December.  Studio Specials are also available through the winter months.

John and Lori Sharp operate Sharp Images Portrait Studio full time on Eighth Street in Midland...and work collaboratively with Farzin Photography in Orillia.   They occasionally accept commercial assignments, but are mostly focused on taking traditional subject matter such as family portraits, weddings, and children's portraits and giving them a more creative look.

John Sharp grew up in Midland, Ontario, a small town on Georgian Bay.  He was inspired in his teens by local photographer Budd Watson, and he did his bachelors degree in photography and media arts at Ryerson University.  After graduating, he traveled and worked as a photographer in Central America for an NGO in relief and development.  He worked in Toronto for ten years producing images for books, national magazines, newspapers, educational and promotional multi-media.  

He has been a member of PPO  the Professional Photographers of Ontario, and PPOC, Professional Photographers of Canada.  John has won awards such as The Nikon Digital Capture Award of Excellence, and The Fuji Masterpiece Award for his popular painterly image Faithful Hockey Fan.
