I had been buying my dog & cat food from a Global Pets in Scarborough. When we moved up here I didn't realize there was a Global in downtown Midland and started with some other pet stores until I discovered Global. Now I won't go anywhere else! The service these young people bring to their customers is exceptional. When they didn't have the cat food in the size I wanted, they ordered it and called me when it came in, and keep a standing order for me. They are knowledgeable about their products and care about our pets. They don't sell "junk food" for your pets, only the best products are on their shelves. Our 14 year old Lab and 4 pesky cats are now Global beasties through and through. Best of luck to the Global family for a long and prosperous business in Midland!
We've been dealing with Global Pets for quite a few years now for cats, rats, snakes, a dog, and most recently fish. We started an aquarium a few months ago and Global Pets is always willing to answer our questions and go above and beyond to help us with everything. Thank you so much for amazing customer service!
I went in to Global Pets the other day and was immediately greeted. I was looking for a leather collar for my dog. The lady was so helpful and friendly. Prices were fair and service was great! I will be back.
At Global Pet Foods, the staff greets you with a smile as soon as you walk in the door. They're eagerly waiting to help you with any questions you may have, and if you're there to browse, they let you do so freely and comfortably. Their customer service is outstanding!
We buy 100% natural pine cat litter (Feline Fresh) from Global Pet Foods, which they recommended to us a few years back. It's top quality and safe for our cat, Honey, which is very important to us. We've also bought many of Honey's favourite toys from Global which have stood the test of time. I'm always excited to see what great, new products they have in stock. And their cat nip... it's top notch!

Global pets is a very good and caring store. Last year when the tornado hit they donated litter boxes, litter anything we needed for our pets even toys for them. They even gave us food for our pets they told us that if they did not like the food they gave us to bring it back and they would exchange it for something they did like. I know its been almost a year that has gone by but I would like to thank you again for your generosity.
The staff at Global Pet food are amazing they now the products and treat you and your pet amazing. I will no longer go to any other store for my pet needs
My dog has very specific nutritional needs, and I can always find something for him at Global! :) I went in yesterday to pick up some treats for a little change of pace for him, and was able to get some freeze dried sweet potato slices that are 100% natural and safe - he LOVES them!! If you're looking for great service and everything you could possibly need for your pet, definitely visit Global!
I have been using Global Pet Foods in Midland exclusively for my pet needs for over a year. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to explain options to you. I never feel rushed, and I have never presented with a question that they couldn't find the answer to. They not only have extensive knowledge about their own products and foods, but also about the animals they serve. The customer service is second to none. If a product doesn't work, doesn't fit, doesn't fit your requirements or isn't well received by your pet the store encourages you to return so that they can replace it with something that meets those needs.
Once again I have experienced great customer service at Global Pet Foods in downtown Midland. I dropped in to the store this afternoon to ask about a specific organic, grain free dry cat food. This cat food is not something they carry but it will be when the next cat food shipment comes in next Thursday. The cost is also $3 less expensive than where I normally purchase this produce, and I was told that there is a frequent buyer program, where after 10 purchases of the same cat food, my 11th bag is free. How can I not be choosing Global Pet foods time and time again??
I have never walked out of the store without feeling completely satisfied with the service and product offered. They have the very best selections of cat toys, supplies, and foods. Thank you! You and every one of your staff are awesome!!!
I have had occasions to be in Midland and have stopped in this Global Store for food and treats etc for my two dogs. The staff have been very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and will take the time to explain what I might need for my dogs. They have a great variety of items in the toys and accessories section to pick from for your pets. The lines of healthy food they carry gives you lots to pick from after their suggestions. I would definitely recommend that any pet owner take the time to stop by and meet the staff and see the store.
Had another amazing experience at Global tonight ... I went in looking for a walking aid to stop my dog from pulling, and not only did I get to try them in the store before I made a purchase, but the staff was full of great advice! I highly recommend this store for products for you pets, and helpful tips too :)
This is a great pet store. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and animal needs. They have a really good variety of foods and unique toys as well.
I have already written a review for global pet foods but I am so extremely impressed again, I have to write another one.
I wanted to change my cats for to a better brand of cat food. I talked to the owner and she was awesome with finding the prefect food for him. She went through ever brand and explained in detail all ingredients and reasons for choosing it. She also said if my cat didn't like the food for any reason I could return it and find a food that he liked. I must have talked to her for an hour. You can tell the staff there all have an extreme love for animals. I only shop at Global pet food for all our animal needs.
I recently visited the store to pick up a few things for my dog, and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of products that they carry. The store is very well organized, with a wide range of products to suit anyone's needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the store had a very welcoming feel. I will definitely be returning soon!
It's about time we have a group of people looking out for whats best for our four legged friends, even if that means going elsewhere to buy a product Global can't have access too. The staff will even go out of their way to get you exactly what ou need, to me this is far and beyond great service. Thank You for your wisdom and affection toward my pets. I went into "Global Pet foods" looking for cat shampoo. I was very impressed with the selection of all Natural shampoo products , and easily found exactly what I was looking for, with some help from their very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The woman that helped me took her time to find the perfect product I was looking for, she even gave me some free samples treats to give to my cat after his bath!
