Scottish Kitchen Party ft. The Celts – January 19th Celtic music supergroup The Celts are particularly well-known for their themed shows. Consisting of some of the best known and most sought after musicians in their genre, their shows are true multimedia productions. Drawing heavily on the back-story, they entertain and amuse the audience as they delve into the true stories and anecdotes of the subject.

The Real Robbie Burns, better known as Scotland's bard, was a truly fascinating and even controversial character. While his memory has been mainly confined to once a year Burns' Suppers, few of the attendees really know much about the man, let alone understand the few pieces of his work that get an airing on these occasions.

Midland Jams – January 21st

The Midland Cultural Centre has opened its doors to Rotary Hall for local performers to come and jam in a casual but energetic venue! Held on the first and third Monday of the month, our house drum kit is available and our A/V tech volunteers run the sound (amps and mics) and lights so performers can get the full, onstage experience. No booking, but bands can sign up with first come, first served to play a 15 min set. This is a licensed event with munchies available for sale.

A great FREE night out for musicians and music lovers!
