Everybody wants to see the "big names" when they attend A Day in the Life at the Midland Cultural Centre But sometimes, the less famous guests on A Day in the Life are among the most interesting programs.
This promises to be the case with my April guest, Dan Needles. Dan is a very amusing guy. He has a fascinating life story. His early days were divided between big city and country farm living. He has been a journalist, a speech writer, a newspaper publisher, a public relations officer, an author, a playwright, a social commentator and a popular speaker. He is best known for his Wingfield Farm series which has been performed across Canada, at the Stratford Festival and on CBC. He's the recipient of the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour.
