A Day In The Life returns August 8th with the HONOURABLE CAROLYN BENNETT, Federal Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs. Carolyn Bennett is a family physician who was elected to Canada’s Parliament in 1997. In December 2003, because of the SARS outbreak, Prime Minister Paul Martin appointed Dr. Bennett as the first ever Minister of State for Public Health. She has served as Canada’s Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs since 2015 when she was appointed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
