nd. This program will sell out quickly. So, we’re providing this advance notice to you to ensure that our loyal supporters

Paul Henderson will always be remembered for “THE GOAL”. He led Team Canada to victory in the 1972 Summit Series against the Soviet Union by scoring the winning goal with 34 seconds to play in the final game of an 8-game series. That goal was a defining moment for a generation of Canadians and was voted “the sports moment of the century”. But there’s much more to Paul Henderson than one goal. He played 13 years in the NHL and 5 in the World Hockey Association. And following retirement he became a pastor, a motivational speaker, and an author. Paul has battled health challenges. He’s truly an inspiration to all Canadians.
"A Day in the Life of Paul Henderson" begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 15th in Rotary Hall at the MCC. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth and are available at the MCC Box Office or online at
www.midlandculturalcentre.com.
