Hailed as a “paradigm of lyricism”, pianist Tina Chong established herself as a rising start on the concert stage. She was described in The Herald TImes as “…mature and yet fresh, imbued with tradition and yet inhabited by individuality, the marks of an artist.”
Winner of the Best Canadian Artist Award at the 2011 Montreal International Musical Competition, Tina Chong also won First Prize in the 2010 Canadian Music Competition, as well as prizes at several other international competitions. She will be performing the popular and delicate fantasies written for the piano by W.SA. Mozart, Robert SChumann, Felix Mendelssohn and the very sensitive Frederic Chopin.
