Join host Fred Hacker as he welcomes John Honderich as his next guest in our "A Day In The Life" series.
Starting out as an office boy and night reporter, he joined the Toronto Star as a reporter and went on to become Publisher of the Toronto Star and Chairman of the Board of Torstar Corporation, the parent company of numerous newspapers including the Toronto Star and the local Midland Mirror.
The conversation will include discussions about John's remarkable career in the newspaper industry, the challenges facing the print media, the expansion of online journalism, the future role of local market newspapers and what we should expect in news reporting in the coming years.
