On behalf of my husband B and I, we wish you a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year. Each New Year brings with it fond memories of
dinner parties and special events with family and friends. Last Christmas was no exception having been
our first Christmas at our new home at 21 Pommel Pl. It has been a wonderful year finding old acquaintances
and getting to know Penetanguishene again. Thank you everyone who made our transition from farm to town life
magical. It’s nice to be home.
Last summer kept me busy playing host to a show in the
cabin on Georgian Bay. Thank you everyone who came out to see my latest
work. A special thanks to all my guests from the Iron City Club for
taking the time out of your short stay at the club to come see and purchase my
work. You have always been a great support to me and I very much
appreciate your kindness.
November started with my first home show here at 21 Pommel
Pl. We called it ART and DESSERT. It was a huge success and gave friends and
clients an opportunity to bring their friends along to see my work. Thank you
everyone who came out to join us for a sneak peak of more recent pictures and
favourite ones too. I do hope you
consider coming back for more ART and DESSERT. I’ll keep you posted.
Thank you Julie Maisoneuve from the hills of Madonte and Jennifer Hurdle
from Midland for drawing the lucky winner of the $300. gift certificate for
purchase within the studio. The lucky winner was no other than Karin
Shadford of Midland.
Congratulations Karin. One happy and very deserving
winner. Just another reason for you to consider coming out for ART and DESSERT
next November.
I continue to paint despite house renovations and shows. I
also live to bring you a piece of Georgian Bay; one at a
time.......(from the eyes of an artist). Sincerely Yours,
LU
