CPR/AED Level ‘C’ or Level ‘HCP’ Certification or Recertification
This basic course covers how to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies (CPR Level C or HCP) and includes hands-on AED training and certification.
Basic Rescuer Level 'C' Cardiopulmonary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) includes infant, child and adult CPR techniques. Health Care Provider Level ‘HCP’ encompasses Level ‘C’ and adds additional advanced CPR training and content such as introduction into bag-valve masks, 2-person CPR, and pulse checks. This designation is often required by students and professionals in the areas of Personal Support Work, Nursing, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy.
Canadian Red Cross manual, wall and wallet certificates included. Certification is valid for 3 years. Candidates must have 100% attendance and an examination score of over 75% to pass.
Dates: December 1, 2016
Times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the latest (usually done between 1pm and 3pm)
Location: First For Safety Training Facility, 105 Fourth Street, Midland, ON L4R 3S9
Cost: Includes Red Cross manual, wall certificate, wallet certificate.
