Standard First Aid & Level 'C' CPR/AED
Standard First
Aid & Basic Rescuer Level ‘C’ or Level ‘HCP’ CPR/AED course. Certification is a 2-day course. This comprehensive course covers emergency
first aid and medical conditions, musculoskeletal soft tissue injuries, head
and spinal injuries, heat and cold emergencies, poisonings, allergic reactions,
choking, and more. Hands-on AED training and certification is included.
Basic Rescuer Level 'C' Cardiopulmonary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
includes infant, child and adult CPR techniques. Canadian Red Cross manual,
wall and wallet certificates included. Certification is valid for 3 years. Candidates must have 100% attendance
and an examination score of over 75% to pass.

Times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
(one hour for lunch)

CPR Health Care Provider (HCP) Level is an advanced
CPR option candidates may add-on to this course for an additional fee of $15
upon registration. The
Health Care Provider (HCP) Level course includes not only the Basic Rescuer
Level 'C' Cardiopulmonary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for infant, child and
adult CPR techniques, but also the advanced techniques required by Health Care
Providers and advanced first aiders such as two-person CPR, bag-valve mask
usage, and more. This designation is
often required by students and professionals in the areas of Personal Support
Work, Nursing, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy.
LOOKING TO RECERTIFY? Please look for training dates titled: “RECERT Day: Standard First Aid &
CPR/AED Recertification” or call
with any questions. Please note: your
existing certification must be within the expiry date to register for a
recertification. If it is past the three
year expiry date, you are required to complete the full course again. Candidates may recertify only once before the
full course is again required.
