about the Workplace Hazardous Materials
Information System 2015 training
after its alignment with GHS, an internationally consistent approach to
classifying chemicals and communicating hazard information through labels and Safety
Data Sheets (SDSs). Participants will
learn about the expected impacts of these changes for chemical suppliers and
employers, how to transition a workplace to the new requirements, how to
understand labels and identify hazards and their classes, as well as understand
the appropriate protective measures by reading the new Safety Data Sheets
(SDSs).
*This
is the new training program in effect June 1, 2015. All employees should be trained in this new
program.
*Annual
refresher training recommended.
Course Requirements: None.
Certificates: Upon successful completion of the course, candidates are issued a
wallet card and a wall certificate. Records of Training issued for companies sending 1 or more employees.
