This is a Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED Course.  Within this 2-day period, there are people doing various certifications and recertifications such as:

Standard First Aid & Basic Rescuer Level ‘C’ CPR/AED (Day 1 and 2) Comprehensive course covers emergency first aid and medical conditions, musculoskeletal soft tissue injuries, head and spinal injuries, heat and cold emergencies, poisonings, allergic reactions, choking, and more.  Hands-on AED training and certification is included.  Basic Rescuer Level 'C' Cardiopulmonary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) includes infant, child and adult CPR techniques.  Canadian Red Cross manual, wall and wallet certificates included.  Certification is valid for 3 years. Cost: $135 + HST  Includes Red Cross manual, wall certificate, wallet certificate.

Recertification of Standard First Aid & Basic Rescuer Level ‘C’ CPR/AED (Day 1 only) A candidate may recertify their course if they have not allowed their certification to expire. Recertification is valid for 3 years upon which time the full course must be repeated. Cost: $100 + HST  Includes wall certificate, wallet certificate.

Emergency First Aid & Level 'C' CPR/AED (Day 1 only) Emergency first aid includes cardiovascular and life-threatening emergencies, choking, as well as hands-on AED training. Certification is valid for 3 years. There is no recertification available for this course. Cost: $100 + HST  Includes Red Cross CPR/AED Booklet, wall certificate, wallet certificate.

CPR/AED Level ‘C’:  (Call for schedule) Do you require a certification or recertification of your CPR portion only? This designation is for you. Certification and recertification valid for 3 years although most programs and workplaces such as for nurses, require this annually. Cost for Certification: $65 + HST  Includes Red Cross CPR/AED Booklet, wall certificate, wallet certificate. Cost for Recertification: $50 + HST Includes wall certificate, wallet certificate.

Health Care Provider Level (HCP): The HCP level is available to add-on to any of the above courses. It is an additional requirement for some college/university programs and clinics, as well as some professional designations. Please call to inquire.  Additional fee of $15 + HST applies for the HCP Level.
