Hello!

It's amazing how much can change in a matter of days!  I can honestly say all retailers were taken by surprise with the announcement last Thursday, that retailers can re-open their businesses with restrictions, as of May 19th, 2020.  After careful consideration, I decided to open limited days and hours per week, with a lot of safety measures in place, for the protection of both staff and clients. 

Safety Measures at A Passion for Fashion Inc.

As of May 19^th, 2020, the store will be open by appointment only on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. More days may be added in the near future, and we will update you.  Curbside pick up is still available on online purchases.

1. Please email Nancy @ apassionforfashioninc@gmail.com to book an appointment between 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for either Tuesday, Friday or Saturday. Please try to give me 24 hours notice, if possible.

2. If you are feeling ill before your appointment, we kindly ask that you let us know by email @ apassionforfashioninc@gmail.com, and we will reschedule you for another date. Similarly, if one of us is not feeling well, we will let you know and reschedule your appointment for another date.

3. We kindly ask that you arrive at your appointment wearing a mask. Please make sure the mask covers you from the bridge of your nose to down under your chin, and that you wear it for your entire appointment.

4. Please come to your appointment alone, or with 1 other person who lives in your household.

5. Please use hand sanitizer upon arrival, and please put on gloves provided at the front of the store before looking through any clothing.

6. Please wear the gloves during your entire appointment, and even when you are trying on clothes.

7. Please select the items you are interested in purchasing, to try on in the change room.

Please leave all items you are not purchasing in the change room. Do not bring them out to me. All items not selected for purchase, will be put in quarantine for 3 days, steamed, and then returned to inventory afterwards.

8. Please maintain social distancing from staff, and we will do the same.

9. The counter, payment terminal, change room, all handles on doors, and hangers will be sanitized between client appointments.

10. Gloves can be disposed of in the wastebasket at the front of the store.

Note: We will be wearing masks and gloves as well, throughout your entire appointment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!  We want to give you the best and safest shopping experience possible.

Update about personal use, non-medical masks: I received word from my Montreal supplier that they are ready to ship my first mask order which I placed back in mid-April.  Due to the overwhelming response they received, along with an elastic shortage in Canada, shipments were delayed and they are now ready to send out some of their earlier orders. I hope to receive them later this week, and will contact everyone by phone once I get them allocated.  If there are any extra styles left afterwards, I will post them on our online catalogue and website, for purchase.  Thank you for your patience and understanding! 

In the meantime, I am carrying the masks shown in the photo below. 
These masks are sewn right here in Ontario, Canada, and are made of double-layer 100% cotton,
are machine washable, come in two colours of solid black and solid white,
and fit both men and women. It is recommended that you wash your mask after every use,
and it is advisable you have a few on hand for the different days of the week.
These masks are available for immediate purchase and are available in our online store at $12 each + HST.  

The feedback I've received from a few clients so far are:
