The BIA is looking to start doing a Shop Local Giveaway quarterly and we’re looking for businesses to participate in the BIA area. In order to participate each business will need to do a $100 buy in. We’d like to get 25 businesses on board raising $2,500 and then would like to do a large giveaway of 2 $1000 prizes in Downtown Dollars. All proceeds will go directly to the giveaway prizes and towards advertising (No cash will be kept for the BIA). Attached is a sample poster where participating business logos will go at the bottom.
We have 3 businesses on board so far and are looking for more!
In order for people to enter they can shop at any participating business and will be able to fill out a ballot after each purchase in each participating store. The giveaway will run for the entire quarter from April 1st to June 30th and if it’s a success we’d like to continue to run the giveaway every quarter year round.
This Shop Local Giveaway will draw people down to your business and will help to continually circle money through the downtown area.
