In this story, the editor of a newspaper based in Midland, Ontario faces bankruptcy!  In an attempt to attract advertisers & readership the newshound begins inventing stories based on old movies. The plan pays off, until one of the stories attracts the attention of a big city reporter who exposes the hoax. But then it is discovered that one of the stories may be true. With a great scoop but no one to believe him, the editor & the reporter must team up to try to save the town, the newspaper & his reputation.
