Ship Simulator Extremes - you've come a long way baby!

In the world of simulators, there are games that put you behind the scope, behind the windshield and behind the clouds, but Ship Simulator Extremes is not just on the water it puts you right where the action really is. From the very first Ship Sim that I played many years ago, I often wondered how far the game could evolve and what missions could be constructed, this version has taken it to a new level, from the smallest outboard with a one lung motor on the back to a the leviathan ships full of cruising passengers, this sim covers it all. Not only are the vessels covered in great detail but the missions also offer hidden surprises. I took up the oil platform mission where I was on patrol with a fireboat vessel and received a call for a burning oil rig fire with survivors in the water. As I sped to the scene , I tested the fire hoses on board and was quite impressed with the number of water guns and the power and distance the water could fly. Once on scene we rescued the 3 survivors in the water then turned the heavy water on to the rig to put the fires out. But the mission was not over yet as I had to take the survivors down to the mooring dock , tie up and transferred the survivors to medical aid, all in all a good days work.

Overview- The graphics are excellent and the sound effects are high quality, the scenery is real world and challenging. The ships themselves are up to date and accurate and the missions are plentiful and right out of a modern day challenge. The only con that I have so far is that earlier versions allowed a player to scroll the map to find the and locate a waypoint and the mission job but this version does not allow any scrolling, you have to zoom right out to see where your mission point is on the map the zoom back in to see where you are in relation to other vessels and the breakwalls and docks, but the feel is there, the real is there and the missions are top rate in challenges, this is one sim that won't disappoint....ALL AHEAD FULL!!!!
