Today Ubisoft announced a new graphic novel "Assassin's Creed Brahman" set to launch this fall. The graphic novel will be set in the 19th century of India. Ubisoft had this to say of the up-coming graphic novel -
“Assassin’s Creed: Brahman” introduces a new Assassin – Arbaaz Mir – as
he battles a lifelong foe who has subjugated Mir’s land and people. The
graphic novel will dive into the rich lore of the Assassin’s Creed
universe, unveiling new information and teasing future storylines.
What's interesting to note is the graphic novel will "unveil new information and tease future storylines". Does this mean an India setting for the next installment of the Assassin's Creed series after Blackflag is in the workings? Yet another new protagonist would be coming and Edward Kenway will be a one time character for the forth installment within the Assassin's Creed video game series? In AC Revelations the multiplayer had an add-on in which some of these locations where somewhat featured, so this isn't all that surprising to see that India would be in the future for Assassin's Creed.
We would love to know your thoughts of where the next Assassin's Creed game will take place. This statement gives us good reason to believe India is in the near future for Assassin Creed fans. Head over to our Facebook page and let us know your thoughts.
