The Last Of Us – one of this year’s most anticipated titles has recently hit store shelves getting perfect reviews from the media. However, not everyone is excited with the release of TLOU and has taken offense to the highly appraised game. Ellen Page, the star of Quantic Dreams up-coming title Beyond: Two Souls, was answering a few questions from fans over the weekend. One fan wrote in and asked how she felt about the similar appearance of her and Ellie – the female protagonist from The Last Of Us?
Ellen replied: “I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond: Two Souls, so it was not appreciated”.
As you can see from the pictures below they do resemble each other reasonably well even though Ellen is not the female protagonist in TLOU.

Naughty Dog revealed shortly after the release of TLOU first trailer that they have modified Ellie’s appearance to resemble Ashley’s personality and a slightly younger character to fit in more with the story.
Both games feature a strong female with personal struggles and hardship to endure throughout their adventure. Ellie from The Last Of Us and Jodie Holmes from Beyond: Two Souls releasing later this year in October.
Does Ellen have a reason to complain about her likeness being ripped off or is she overreacting? Let us know your thoughts on our Facebook page.
