Uncharted 3 for the PS3 puts Drake right back into the action. The story has Drake going back into his childhood of how he became the treasure hunter that he is today. He has his old friend Victor Sullivan is back in action with him as he goes through jungles, shipping yard, train wrecks, and old ancient cities.

Drake has an assortment of weapons to choose from; several hand guns, machine guns, rocket launcher, and the Dragonov sniper rifle. I really enjoyed running around melee the bad guys. Drake has several different ways to take out a guy with his bare hands from choking him out, to a big windup round house punch.

The graphics in the game are stunning; you can tell that the developers took the time and effort with all the fine little details taken care of the characters and the environment.

Uncharted 3 brings with it some multiplayer that could use a little bit more fine tuning when it comes to unloading a full clip into someone and not killing them and then they return fire of 2 bullets and you end up dead instead. Having said that the multiplayer is still lots of fun to play once you except that hiccup and move past it. One option in multiplayer is team death match where your objective is to kill the players on the other team, and while doing so you can collect treasure chests, and pick up other peoples weapons as they die. Something that was a nice added bonus to the team death match was being able to have 3 teams of 2 as opposed to just the usual 2 team games.

A nice aspect that Uncharted 3 brings to the death match scene is streak rewards and perks. These rewards and perks include such things as after a streak of so many kills you can get a sniper rifle or rocket launch. Perks include running faster, unlimited ammo for a time, extra grenades, and other bonuses.

Something I personally enjoy is the main story co-op. You and a friend can go online and play through the story together one person as Drake and the other as his old friend Victor Sullivan.

Just like Uncharted 1 and 2; Uncharted 3 has an illustrious storyline that keeps the player immersed in the game where you’ll enjoy playing with all the action packed adventure you expect from an Uncharted game, and keeping the player yearning for more to see what will happen next in the cinematic cut scenes.

Uncharted 3 is definitely a must play game. The multiplayer falls a bit short for me but the single player and co-op will give you hours of fun by yourself and with a friend. Then you add in the unlimited amount of time you can spend playing the multiplayer portion of the game. When you stop playing you will be amazed at how much time has gone into playing the game.
