Choosing the right brush for your latex paint. Brush bristles/ filaments are available in chinex, polyester, nylon or polyester/nylon/chinex blends. Brushes that include a blend of polyester keep their bend and recovery while a 100 percent nylon paint brush is great when there is no humidity because it allows the paint to release from the brush easier and flow smoothly onto the working surface.
