(MIDLAND,ON) - Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) are continuing to raise the awareness for North Simcoe residents of the various scams that they may encounter on the telephone or online.

OPP Make Arrest in Relation to Downtown Midland Fire Investigation
(MIDLAND, ON) - A 36-yr-old individual of no fixed address Midland, has been arrested by members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment in relation to a fire that broke out at 288 King Street Midland at approximately 10:26 p.m. on March 5, 2024.

A fully engulfed apartment fire above a King Street Town of Midland business has #SGBOPP giving Midland Fire Department a hand by closing King Street and First Ave between Elizabeth St And Hugel Ave to traffic. Please avoid the area and give Emergencey Services room to work. No Injuries have been reported.
