The Town of Midland in partnership with ShopMidland.com is looking for partners to join us in launching a “Sports Tourism Program” for visitors coming to Midland to participate in sports tournaments.

The “Sports Tourism Program” is free for any business/tourist attraction to participate. There is no catch. We simply want to promote you and ensure that people visiting the area to participate in sports know about our great local businesses and have a great experience with our community.

The program is powered by your ShopMidland.com profile page, even if you are just in a free package with ShopMidland.

We will notify you of upcoming tournaments, tell you how you can identify participants and will ask you if you have any special deals or information you want participants to know about.

When you receive an email notice from us, you'll just need to click the link and post an update on ShopMidland.com with your choice of incentives to encourage our visiting sports enthusiasts to visit your business. 

For example, you may want to offer a discount, complimentary beverage, free admission, etc., or even just let them know about the special of the day.

All of these updates will be listed on our new website, www.MidlandSportsTourism.com, which all sports tourists will be directed to.

We hope the “Sports Tourism Program” will welcome Tourists and increase the returns to our local business community as we expand our tourism industry by welcoming visitors with a friendly smile and excellent service.  

In addition your business will be put on a list which will be distributed to all tournament organizers prior to all sporting events being held in Midland.  We will have someone on our committee follow up on how your business can take part in this new venture.
