THE SHOW YOU'LL BE TALKING ABOUT ALL WEEKEND - THE JERRY CANS
Last round of tickets for the hottest show in November. The Jerry Cans bring their Alt-Canuck twist on folk, pop and country music
to the Midland Cultural Centre THIS THURSDAY!
A show you’ll want to share with family and friends, the group has a reputation for getting all ages up from their seats with their high energy and passion for their music. The fast-rising Northern Stars get their inspiration from their hometown of Iqualuit, Nunavut – Alt-Canuck blend of folk, pop and country, reminiscent of Willie P Bennett or Kashtin. Blending alternative-country, throat singing and reggae make them a distincly northern and one of a kind act!
Massey Hall presented The Jerry Cans live at Toronto's MOD Club in March 2018. This video shares the high-energy of their live performances: This group is committed to representing northerners and to challenging common misconceptions they have encountered about life in the Arctic; their music evokes the contemporary north and the spirited people that reside there. It is not only the political motives, but their rapidly developing reputation for getting elders and young people dancing, that has forced people to start noticing this high-energy group.
