A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH CAPTAIN ROBBIE HINDLE on June 6
th. Captain Robbie Hindle grew up in Midland, playing sports and attending high school locally. He was attracted to a career in the military and received his Navigators wings. He did training and service in Winnipeg, Ottawa, and San Antonio TX, and travelled throughout North America supporting Canadian Air Force and Navy units in their training. He got the aviation bug and worked toward a private pilot’s licence. He completed his pilot training and applied for and was eventually accepted into RCAF flying training . He moved to Moose Jaw, received his pilot wings, was invited to teach at flight school, and eventually moved into an operating position and began conducting flight tests. He then received a call from a former instructor asking if he’d like to become a Snowbird.
