SIMULCAST VIEWING - ADITL WITH PETER MANSBRIDGE
Due to the overwhelming interest in A Day In The Life with Peter Mansbridge, we will now be offering tickets to a simulcast viewing of the show in the Huronia Players Theatre. Mr. Mansbridge will come on stage to address the HP audience briefly before and after the main program.
Peter Mansbridge is a retired news anchor and a Canadian icon. From 1988 to 2017, he was chief correspondent for CBC News and anchor of The National, the flagship nightly newscast on CBC TV. He was also host of Mansbridge One On One. As anchor of The National, and before that as a news reporter and Parliamentary correspondent, Peter has covered some of the most significant stories of our era including Olympics Games, federal elections, leadership conventions, the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the Meech Lake Accord negotiations, the Charlottetown Accord, the Gulf War, the 1995 Quebec referendum, the 1997 Manitoba floods, the 1998 ice storms in Ontario and Quebec, the deaths and funerals of Princess Diana, Pope John Paul II, Pierre Trudeau, Nelson Mandela, and Jack Layton, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the 2003 blackout, the 2014 Parliament Hill shootings, and the Canada 150 celebrations.
