COLD WAR WARRIOR - THE STORY OF CANADIAN MI-6 AGENT LAWRENCE FOX
A special invitation from Lawrence Fox:
Hello Friends,
I am having this invitation sent
to everyone who attended the
A Day in the
Life programs on which I appeared.
That was the first time I publicly told the story of my service as an
MI-6 agent during the Cold War. I am very
grateful that you attended. I appreciated the encouragement that you gave me at
that time. Many of the guests at those
programs encouraged me to publish my story.
As a result of that encouragement, I began to work on having a book
published.
And now that dream has come to
reality. Author Robert Popple has turned
my story into a wonderful book.
Major-General Lewis MacKenzie has written a fascinating Foreword to the
book. And Friesen Press has done an
admirable job of publishing the book.
The book is printed and in my
hands. We’re going to have a party to
launch the book. And I’d like to invite you to attend. We’ve scheduled the launch party for Tuesday,
April 12
th at 7 pm at the Midland Cultural Centre. I’ll be speaking. The author, Robert Popple, will be
speaking. The host of
A Day in the Life, Fred Hacker, will be
the MC. There will be a cash bar. We’ll have the book on sale ($25). Robert and I will be pleased to autograph
copies of the book.
I hope you’ll be able to share
this special evening with us.
Yours truly,
Lawrence Fox.
