Last night Roy Ellis addressed Midland Town Council on the subject, "Engaging the Community To Create A Sustainable Economy".
Mr. Ellis spoke to a packed house as he emphasized the need to build greater community awareness around the candidates and the issues in this year's election.
In addition to hosting two "meet and greets" with the Downtown Midland BIA on October 6th and 7th, MidlandCommunity.ca invited each candidate to respond to four key questions pertaining to their vision, their qualifications and priorities.
We're pleased to report that 18 of the 27 candidates responded to our request and their comments are prominently posted on our web site for your review and assessment.
Unfortunately, some candidates chose not to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to educate the public ahead of their election decisions on October 27th.
