WHERE:Midland Council Chambers, 575 Dominion Avenue
Development Fees are set to Rise 16% and 78% respectively for residential and non-residential projects. These proposed increases occur when 2014 assessment growth is only 0.75% and the Town is experiencing a decline in building permits for new residential builds. Midland, a community with some of the highest taxes in the County, can ill-afford to jeopardize growth with a 78% increase in non-residential development fees.
Please make the effort to attend the public meeting and let Council know how you feel about the proposed increases.
