EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation)

EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) is used to create muscle contractions using electrical impulses. The impulses are delivered using electrode pads. EMS may be used to help decrease muscles spasm and atrophy (muscle wasting), improve flexibility and increase blood flow.
Vestibular Rehabilitation is used to treat dizziness, vertigo, imbalance. The therapist assess the cause for the symptoms and will tailor a treatment approach based on the diagnosis. Treatment options may include repositioning manoeuvres applied by the therapist, balance retraining or specific vestibular exercises.
