Are your services covered by OHIP?
Government cutbacks have decreased access to OHIP paid physiotherapy services for the majority of our population between the ages of 16 and 65. Coverage remains partially available through hospitals and a few licensed facilities.
We are a private physiotherapy clinic with licensed and registered clinicians that are able to bill extended healthcare plans. We are able to bill some of the extended health plans directly on your behalf depending on the insurance company and plan.
If we are unable to bill a plan directly for you, for your convenience, we accept cash, cheque, mastercard and Visa. Payment is due when services are rendered Please contact our friendly administrative staff to assist you with determining your eligibility for coverage.
Do I need a Doctors referral for your services?
Physiotherapists licensed in Ontario DO NOT require a written referral in order to assess and treat your condition. In some instances however, if you are requesting reimbursement from an extended health insurance plan, they may require a referral with the invoice submission. Please check your health benefits booklet or inquire at your employer human resources department.
How often will I need to come for therapy?
Treatment frequency and duration varies with each individual. During your initial assessment, the clinicians will be able to determine your individual needs based on your unique circumstances.
What should I bring to my assessment?
The administrative staff can help you determine if you are required to bring any additional paperwork to your appointment such as claim forms, x-ray reports etc. Be sure to bring a list of your current medications you may be taking. You should wear comfortable clothing that will allow the therapist the easiest access to the injured area. If you are currently using any therapeutic aids ie. Cane, crutches or using an form of brace, please bring it along. We do have shorts, gowns and tank tops if you happen to forget.
