WASTE NOT....
Well , we touched on manure in a previous post, from the perspective of enriching our food sources... But we need to pa attention to our own waste, too!
Have you strolled down your street recently , the day before garbage day, and see the stuff other people throw away? They say it tells a whole story of the life of the throwers.
We can borrow this detective wisdom and help ourselves by paying more attention to our own waste...DON'T IGNORE what you are throwing away After all, if a gut problem or symptom tells you that... more

MIXING DRUGS AND SUPPLEMENTS
...NOT what you'd find in a CPS.
Have you ever wondered how these 2 groups of substances get along? It astonishes me that interactions are all that are touted in literature. BUT let's take a closer look. Really close... OK maybe we have a drug which lowers blood pressure forcing minerals through and out of the kidneys. The primary outcome it temporarily good, but the fact that minerals are shunted, means that any gentle action of botanicals, homeopathics or other subtle energy therapies will be... more

FIBER and its value in vegetables DAVID ANTEBI·THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 2017 Did you know that vegetable fiber is SO important? Porcessed foods, especially sugar, have fiber removed, which throws our metabolism all out of wack Since fiber carries the formal “instructions” as to how to store and utilize sugars, processing the food is like displaying unlabelled product in a grocery store. And it’s so cheap....Fiber can rehabilitate a poorly functioning bowel in no time, and save you so much grief. It doesn’t have to taste bad,... more

Feeding the ARMY...
A SMEAR of pesky dish soap can bubble suds in a glass, Just as...a milligram of drug can knock out a person, so why is it, so small a quantity can have such a potent effect?
The answer is distribution. The film of dish soap needs only be 1 molecule thick (that’s incredibly tiny) to exert it's effect of soaping.
The human body pumps an average of 80 to 100 gallons a minute throughout all of the circulation (including the brain) and we benefit from this process as the milligram of drug is diluted very quickly over the... more

SIMPLE TRICKS TO BOOST YOUR SUPPLEMENT'S PERFORMANCE!
Here goes... Vitamins are best taken in the context of a meal, so directly after food is best, and never on an empty stomach. Minerals, though, are best taken on empty , actually prior to meals for best absorption (It depends upon what product you are about to take , whether carbonate, citrate etc, because these so-called salts may be better accepted and absorbed as a mineral , and other times , the salt has to be broken down with enzymes during a meal to make it useful)
Mineral... more

Soil contains minerals! Minerals make veggies taste. If we strip minerals from the soil by over- cultivating and stressing the soil , we destroy our own nutrients. It's hardly complicated. Ask any farmer. for example , if iron is in the soil and a plant takes it up, it passes it on. insecticides and genetic modification ensure the plant produces. But what's in it for us? Nourishing the plant with animal manure enriches the mineral content and ensures the plant does become a conduit for minerals we so badly need. Yeay! to... more

Continued....The conclusion of Vitamin doses, missed...
The bottom line is that we can skip doses of either category, if we are taking supplements , and ought to if only to save money. Vitamins are best taken in the context of a meal, so directly after food is best, and never on an empty stomach. Minerals, of which we only need tiny amounts, ought not to be overlooked in deficiency as diagnostic purely for the reason of the small requirements. Our bones are capable of sustaining in strength , and the brain, nerves and muscles are given... more

VITAMINS OR NO VITAMINS...that's the question
In the news this week, some pretty interesting findings from the organization calling itself Annals Of Internal Medicine. (A I M)
VITAMINS or NO VITAMINS...now that's a question!
They had designed a study to supposedly demonstrate the merit (or not) of taking multivitamins.
