Ana makes me one of my favourite lunches - her cottage cheese pierogies, which she pan fries for me, and is served with a lovely side salad. I even got my staff member Sharon hooked on it! It is absolutely delicious!
During my visit to Midland some time ago, I asked people on the streets of downtown where is the best place to have a good quality meal. They told me that Ana, the owner of the Globe Deli makes the best pierogies in town.
In my opinion, Globe Deli is the best European restaurant in Midland area. The food here is truly home cooked traditional Polish and German and the quality is outstanding!!! Every single dish here is made from scratch. It’s the best European food I’ve ever had. You definitely have to try the hand made delicious Pierogi, you try them once and you will come back for more as I did! If you are not into Pierogies, ask Ana, for homemade soup or “flaczki”, polish speciality.
I don't come to Midland often, so I wasn't aware of this amazing restaurant, but the food was amazing. Generous servings, and feel at home setting makes this one of my favourites in Midland. Try their lunch specials!
The Globe offers delicious, fresh food at a reasonable price and in a central location. The server is also the chef and she is delightful! Pierogies are delicious and so are the cabbage rolls and other Polish favourites. I suggest you try it!
