Procedures, Ethics and Standards

SESSION TIME: Duration of session: 1 initial coaching session for 45minutes-1 hour in length. Subsequent calls are 30 minutes in length, 3 calls per month. All contracts are 3 month in length but may be signed for longer.

PROCEDURE: Client will call the Coach at a pre-arranged time for scheduled sessions. Client may also e-mail coach anytime and coach will respond within twenty-four hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Cancellation must be made 24 hours in advance. All make-up calls must be completed within current month.

CHANGES: If you need to reschedule your call, please give at least 24 hours notice. If you have an emergency, we’ll try and work around it. There may be a time that your coach is forced to reschedule as well, but every effort will be made to give you as much advanced notice as possible.

EXTRA TIME: You may call between sessions if you need advice, have a challenge or can’t wait to share a success. We do not bill for additional time of this type, as it is really a retainer relationship, but we do ask that you keep the extra calls to 5 or 10 minutes each, please.

CHALLENGES: The Client understands that the Coach/Client relationship is based on mutual trust. If a situation arises where one party is uncomfortable with something that was said or done it is understood that the situation will be discussed and a resolution found so that we can continue the relationship. We promise to always do everything possible to keep you satisfied and to work together like any team should.

TERMINATION: The term of the relationship is 3 months (or longer). The Client may cancel at anytime. At such time as cancellation is agreed upon, payment made for the current month shall be considered full payment for coaching and will not be refunded.

CONFIDENTIALITY: The Coach recognizes that the Client may have the following: future plans, business affairs, customer lists, financial information, job information, goals, personal information and other proprietary information. The Coach will not at anytime, either directly or indirectly, use any information for the Coach’s own benefit, disclose or communicate in any manner any information to any third party. The Coach will not divulge that the Coach and Client are in a coaching relationship without the permission of the client.

NATURE OF RELATIONSHIP: The Client is aware that the Coaching relationship is in no way to be construed as psychological counseling or any type of therapy. The Client enters into coaching with the understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results. The Client is hiring a Dream Life Coaching Coach, for the purpose of supporting them with respect to life skills, communication skills, business and personal objectives, and/or assisting in creating a structure for identifying and achieving goals. The Client agrees that Dream Life Coaching is not an: “Employment Agent”, “Business Manager”, “Financial Analyst,” or “Psychotherapist”.
