2023 was a truly amazing year for Brookside Music Association. Thanks to generous donors like you we achieved remarkable milestones in our mission to promote the arts and enrich our community through music.Brookside Music has continued to thrive and expand its impact in several ways. These include the year round Brookside Presents concerts which are dedicated to bringing exceptional musical performances to our community, offering a diverse range of concerts and events that resonate with music enthusiasts of all ages.The summer Festival of the Bay celebrated its 13th year in 2023. It was a resounding success, attracting both local and international artists to share their talent and passion with our audience. The highlight of the year was the launch of the inaugural One World Music Festival in August. This groundbreaking event brought together musicians from across the globe, fostering cultural exchange and celebrating the universal language of music. The festival showcased our commitment to fostering unity and understanding through music.Brookside remains deeply committed to our community outreach initiatives, working tirelessly to bring the joy of music to many. These programs have touched many lives, enriching our community and fostering a lovefor music among those who may not have had access to it otherwise. Your generosity has allowed us to expand our reach and bring the gift of music to even more individuals in our community. We invite all students to attend most concerts free of charge; our outreach educational programs will reccommense next year after having been paused by Covid and tickets to this year's events were shared with individuals made vulnerable by their personal circumstances in the MIdland area. The success of these endeavors would not have been possible without the unwavering support of individuals like you who believe in the power of music to inspire, connect and heal. As we look ahead to 2024, we are filled with enthusiasm and determination to continue our mission.
